The Villa Angelo is located near the church in the center of S. Cristina in Val Gardena, close to the famous Val Gardena railway promenade, which connects Ortisei to Selva Gardena. Until the 1960s the Val Gardena railway passed through here and right next to the house there is still the old railway tunnel, which has been renovated and is now part of the promenade. From our apartment Villa Angelo you can reach the bar "Café Cales" in a few minutes (about 200m) and the restaurant Pizzeria "Da Peppi" is only a few steps away (50m).

Our apartment is the ideal starting point for countless hikes and mountain tours. One of these hikes is the notorious "Legend trail", which leads from the centre of S. Cristina through the forest to the idyllic little church of St. Jakob. Another hike leads around the village to the beautiful waterfall that you can admire from our house.

By car:
The simplest way to reach Val Gardena is to follow the Brenner Motorway A22. Coming from north, follow Innsbruck-Brenner-Chiusa. Coming from south, follow Verona-Trento-Bolzano. Take the „Chiusa/Val Gardena“ exit. After about 25 km, along the panoramic road SS242, following the road signs to „Val Gardena/Grödental“, you will reach S. Cristina in Val Gardena.

IC- and EC trains take you to Bressanone and Bolzano. Some trains stop in Chiusa too. A regular bus service (SAD) will carry you to S. Cristina in Val Gardena in about one hour.
